Requirements

  • Find the Nine Tail monster NPC at pay_dun03 (48, 84).
  • Choose Nod head so it transforms into human form, then bring 999 Nine Tail (Fox_Tail).

Find Nine Tails

  1. Go to Payon Cave 3F (pay_dun03) and find the Nine Tail NPC at 48, 84.
  2. When it appears as a fox monster, touch it and choose Nod head so it transforms into human form.
  3. Shake head instead spawns a hostile Nine Tail elsewhere on the map.

Trade for Kitsune Mask

  1. Talk to the human-form Nine Tails and listen to his story.
  2. Bring 999 Nine Tail (Fox_Tail) and choose Give items.
  3. He consumes them and gives 1 Kitsune Mask (Mask_Of_Fox).
