Bard Job Change

Find wandering bard Lalo on Comodo beach, give him a proper flower, visit Lutie, then pass his singing test. Male Archers only. on ClassicRO.

Requirements

Must be a male Archer with Job Level 40 or higher.
Use all First Job skill points before the final job change.
Bring one accepted flower (not a common Flower, bouquet, or Maneater Blossom).
Visit Lutie so xmas_npc is greater than 10, then return for the singing test.
Type each lyric line exactly, including "This day will never come again!"

Talk to Lalo on the Comodo beach (comodo 226, 123). Female characters are sent to look into Dancer instead.
He asks for a flower as a gift. Accepted: Singing Flower, Hinalle, Aloe, Ment, Izidor, Witherless Rose, Frozen Rose, or Illusion Flower.
Rejected: Flower, Bunch of Flowers, Wedding Bouquet, Fancy Flower, and Maneater Blossom.
After he accepts a flower, he sends you to Lutie (Snow Village) to hear more music.

Lutie, then the Singing Test

Travel to Lutie and talk to NPCs until your xmas_npc progress is above 10 (the Christmas / Jack Frost dialogues).
Return to Lalo. He starts the singing test: type each lyric exactly as he displays it. One wrong line fails the attempt.
The last line must be typed as: This day will never come again!
On a perfect recitation he offers an immediate job change, or a present if you bring 60 trunks of the same kind.

Job Change and Optional Present

Spend leftover skill points first.
Choose to change jobs immediately, or gather 60 identical trunks for an instrument: Wooden Block, Fine-grade, or other Archer Tree trunks.
Job Level 50 with 60 Tree of Archer 1 trunks yields a better instrument. You can skip the present and change jobs anyway.
Lalo changes your job to Bard.
